Exciting Software Update Coming

We’re wielding the axe over the current version of the software and bringing in a whole host of new exciting changes, include a new user interface (a teaser of which is pictured above). All of this starts with a major update on July 1st and we hope to have completed all of the major changes by 1st September. Customers were sent detailed information last week on the changes, and if you’ve missed on on this info, please simply contact us for more information.

All schools will also be sent instructions on how to deal with any changes nearer to the time. Among the first of the changes are new features, a new user interface and a number of bug fixes. By the end of the summer holidays we plan to add a number of exciting new features which have been specifically requested by schools. We’re not going to go into too much detail here. Partly because we don’t want to spoil the surprise. If you’re interested in hearing more, contact us.

New Term and New Customers

All of the team at our office would like to take this opportunity to wish a warm welcome back to our current customers. We all hope they all had a fantastic break and new year. The new year brings with it a new term and more parents’ evenings. We have been simply blown away by how busy we have been. On almost every day we’re breaking the record visitor numbers in terms of parents and school users. Similarly, we’re being flooded with new enquiries. Suffice to say, we’re very excited to kick off 2014 and it’s great that lots of more schools will all be experiencing Perfect Parents’ Evenings for the first time.

Any current customers who recommend us to other schools will receive £50 off their annual bill for each school they recommend, if the new customer buys. We’re finding that more and more, recommendations are becoming our most frequent enquiry type, and we thank all of our customers for that too. Here’s to a fantastic year together!

Recommended in Hampshire

Following a recent framework and consultation by Hampshire County Council into all of it’s IT offerings, the Parents’ Evening Booing System is proud that it has been announced as the preferred supplier for all schools in the local authority for online parents’ evening management.

With as many as 80 schools in Hampshire already using the Parents’ Evening Booking System, the news that we were to be be recognised as the ‘preferred supplier’ was received gratefully and we look forward to welcoming more of the Council’s schools with open arms.

We’re delighted with this good news and we hope that it shows the Council’s support of us and all that we do. We recognise that a big part of the decision to appoint us as such is due to the quality of software but also the quality of service and support received by schools who already have the Parents’ Evening Booking System.

New Advert Launched

With great thanks to our friends at Beard Askew Productions, we are proud to announce the launch of our new advert. In late September 2013, we visited a number of our customers in London and met with them to talk about how positive an effect the Parents’ Evening Booking System has had at their school since they introduced it. It was fantastic to sit down and talk with head teachers, administrators, secretaries, teachers and parents and be told how popular and successful your product is!

Our advert focuses on each different type of staff member and shows them talking about how the Parents’ Evening Booking System makes their job much easier and more stress-free. We are looking forward to visiting more of our customers in what remains of 2013 and throughout 2014.

New Support Desk

Announcing a better, faster and smoother support process

As part of our continuous effort to give you a better experience, we have just migrated our customer support processes to Freshdesk. We strive to take full advantage of the powerful capabilities and best-practices in Freshdesk, to give you a better support experience.

How does this make a difference to you ?

Not a lot changes in terms of how you get in touch with us. You can shoot us an email to support@parents-booking.com, and our support system will automatically create a ticket on your behalf. You will also be notified of our responses and status changes to your tickets via email as well, and you can send out your replies directly. The first time you send us a support query, you will receive an email with activation instructions to login to our support portal at pebs.freshdesk.com. Going forward, you can check the status or add comments to your support queries here. We are actively populating our support portal with FAQs and solutions in our knowledge base, so you can help yourself to how-tos and instructions. You can also discuss your ideas and share tips in our community forums.
