  • Parents who do not typically engage with school events, or who don’t usually attend parents’ evening, can be encouraged through the use of technology and with the promise of a better structured appointments schedule, picked by them, at times that suit them, in an order they want

Data Help Videos

By | News | No Comments

It’s a double-edged sword, but as our software becomes ever-more advanced and intelligent, handing all sorts of new data and school needs, the technology and information that it can import can both become more complicated in turn.

While we are committed to making it as easy as possible to export and upload your school data, either through a 1-click import or via a Report Generator, we sometimes find that schools want to perform clever tricks on their spreadsheet of data, or format/edit their spreadsheet of data in clever way. Recently we’ve been making a list of all the common (and unusual) ‘data help’ queries. We decided to put our Excel expert to task, filming videos of how to perform all sorts of simple and/or complicated tasks. The idea is that any Excel spreadsheet data issues schools have will have a solution in our video vault. We hope that that you will be able to find the solution you want for any future problem you may have in our vault of ‘Data Help Videos’. The link for this is below, but can also be found in pride of place on the Admin’s “Upload Data” page.

By | News | No Comments

Last week we visited Lasswade High School to film recommendations from the staff and parents about how the new online booking process for the parents’ evenings has been. All at Lasswade High School were delighted with the impact the how software has had and all the changes that it has brought to the process. Parents are delighted to be able to book online, school office staff have found the system much easier to use, teachers much prefer parents’ evenings this way and headmaster Alan Williamson describes in detail it’s great impact.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all at Lasswade High School who took the time to organise our visit or who gave their time to speak to us. Following a recent framework and consultation by Hampshire County Council into all of it’s IT offerings, the Parents’ Evening Booing System is proud that it has been announced as the preferred supplier for all schools in the local authority for online parents’ evening management.

With as many as 80 schools in Hampshire already using the Parents’ Evening Booking System, the news that we were to be be recognised as the ‘preferred supplier’ was received gratefully and we look forward to welcoming more of the Council’s schools with open arms.

We’re delighted with this good news and we hope that it shows the Council’s support of us and all that we do. We recognise that a big part of the decision to appoint us as such is due to the quality of software but also the quality of service and support received by schools who already have the Parents’ Evening Booking System.

We are determined to service all of the UK with the Parents’ Evening booking System and we believe this is a very positive step forward for us. If you are a school in Hampshire, contact us for a free demonstration and a quotation.
